Various attractive beaches lie within easy distance; Afteli is just 6.5km while Mikros Gialos and Disimi are each within a 20 minute drive and have a further smattering of restaurants, tavernas and shops to explore. Additionally, the wilder and more rugged west coast is home to several beaches considered some of the most beautiful in all of Greece. Famous for its unspoiled landscape and clear blue waters gorgeous Porto Katsiki (a hugely scenic boat trip from Nydri) located on the south west tip of Lefkada is widely considered to be amongst the top 10 beaches in Europe.
